Renovation in Surbiton

At this town house in Surbiton we fully renovated the front reception room. After stripping all the old furniture, carpets, skirting, picture rail and wall paper we got to work repairing and skimming the ceiling and walls.

The ceilings curved down into the walls in this property, which gave an added challenge to our plasterers. As you can see from the pictures the they got it spot on in the end.

We created a made to measure cupboard and some bespoke shelves out of Oak Veneered MDF. The “Chunky look” shelving makes for a modern looking finish in this bright front room.

The engineered wood flooring matches the bespoke furniture and really helps to tie the room together.

We feel the traditional picture rail, combined with the contemporary built in shelving and cupboard work well together and create an interesting new look.
